Stills are making their way onto the web of Pedro Almodovar’s latest film, “Los Abrazos Rotos,” translated as “Broken Embraces.”
I loved “Volver” so much, after never really watching any of his films and I thought Penelope was absolutely marvelous in it. So i’m really looking forward to this one.
Enjoy the pics here!

Hmm, this looks interesting — if only Tom Cruise wasn’t in this. The technicality of the films looks great, and the trailer seems to be paced very well, but I just don’t buy Tom Cruise in a period film — sorry. (I’ll still see this thought because of Bryan Singer.)

Denzel Washington has signed on to star in “The Matarese Circle,” based on the Robert Ludlum novel.
“The project revolves around two secret agents — an American and a Russian — who must work together to fight a mysterious group of killers known as the Matarese. The twist: The agents, Bradley Scofield and Vasili Taleniekov, have been nemeses for years, with each responsible for killing someone close to the other. According to those familiar with the pitch, Washington would play Scofiel,” says The Hollywood Reporter.
Michael Brandt and Derek Haas are writing the screenplay. The two previously worked together on “3:10 to Yuma” and the upcoming Angelina Jolie film “Wanted.”
